Laura E. Ocasio Gracia is an experienced registered nurse with a strong background in emergency and acute patient care, nursing leadership, and education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Universidad Central de Bayamón and has continued her education at the University of Puerto Rico, earning graduate degrees focused on educational leadership and nursing education with a specialization in child and adolescent care.

Laura previously served as an Emergency Room Nurse and Emergency Room Nurse Coordinator at Bayamón Medical Center, where she provided direct patient care, collaborated closely with emergency healthcare teams, and supported nursing staff. Her experience is complemented by certifications including PALS, ACLS, CPR, and EKG, as well as a passion for leadership, education, and serving her community.

In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends. Learning new things, traveling to different countries, reading, salsa dancing, painting, and creating mosaics.
